Rust
Hatchey Rust is a freestyle snowboard for park sessions and playful piste riding. Its symmetrical shape makes direction changes and switch riding feel natural. Rocker helps you flex the board into tricks, while triaxial reinforcement supports the edge under load and helps control landings.
Technologies
Rocker for playful handling
Rocker lifts the board’s contact areas away from the snow, making turns and presses easier to initiate. The Twin Tip shape has matching nose and tail dimensions and a centred stance, giving a balanced feel when riding switch.
Full-length poplar core
Woodcore uses poplar from nose to tail. The wood gives the board its flex and helps it spring back after bending, providing a lively response between turns and during take-offs.
Triax reinforcement and sidewalls
Triaxial glass reinforcement runs in three directions to resist twisting. It helps the edge stay controlled under cornering and landing loads. The Sidewall construction’s ABS sidewalls protect the core edges and transfer pressure towards the steel edges.
Straightforward maintenance and stance adjustment
The extruded base needs straightforward maintenance and small areas of damage are readily repairable. Micro Inserts with 4 × 2 cm spacing provide finer adjustment of the distance between the bindings to suit your stance.
