SpeedBox 1.1
SpeedBox 1.1 changes the assistance speed limit, rather than the motor’s rated power. Actual speed depends on the bike, rider and conditions; “unlimited” refers to the assistance limit.
Operation and display
There is no on/off button: the chip remains active once fitted. The e-bike’s display does not show true speed, so its reading cannot be used as an accurate speed measurement.
Exact compatibility
This version is designed for the Panasonic GXM motor. It does not support SpeedBox Connect, Bluetooth or chip updates. Check your bike’s motor designation before ordering.
Before installation
For a new bike, the manufacturer requires at least 10 km of riding before installation. Remove the chip before updating the e-bike’s software and reinstall it afterwards. Follow the included instructions and the colour coding when connecting the plugs.
Intended use
The manufacturer specifies off-road use only, at the rider’s own risk. Installation may affect the e-bike’s warranty.
