Aspen VIP
A photochromic visor that adapts to the light on the slopes.
The Etape Aspen VIP combines a ski helmet and flip-up photochromic visor. As you move between sunshine and shade, the visor adjusts its tint for you; eight vents and soft ear pads add comfort while skiing.
Technologies
FlexVision · S1–S3
FlexVision adjusts its tint to light intensity: the visor darkens in sunshine and becomes lighter in lower light. Its S1–S3 range covers low light through to sunny conditions, reducing the need to swap lenses when the weather changes. The Revo Mirror coating helps reduce glare reflected by snow.
Clear vision and comfort
ZeroFog helps reduce fogging on the inside of the visor. The lens provides 100% UV protection and has a scratch-resistant coating. A foam edge cushions contact with the face; prescription glasses can be worn beneath the flip-up visor.
In-mold
The outer shell is bonded directly to the impact-absorbing polystyrene liner during manufacture. This In-mold construction helps keep weight down.
8 ventilation openings
Eight vents allow excess heat and moisture to escape from around your head, helping keep you comfortable during active skiing.
QFS · dial fit adjustment
The QFS retention system lets you adjust the circumference continuously using a dial to fit your head. Soft ear pads sit comfortably against the ears and help protect them from the cold.
