Product detailed description
Ultimate Resolution MIPS
Uvex Ultimate Resolution MIPS is a sporty ski helmet for pistes and skiing beyond groomed runs. The robust ABS shell protects a two-part EPS core that absorbs impacts and insulates well. MIPS® adds protection in oblique impacts, when rotational forces also act on the head.
Construction and comfort
MIPS®
A low-friction layer inside the helmet allows slight movement between the head and helmet during certain angled impacts. This helps reduce rotational motion that could otherwise be transferred to the head.
Hardshell and two-part EPS core
The durable ABS outer shell protects two sections of impact-absorbing EPS foam. The result is a robust construction with effective cushioning and good insulation in cold weather.
Uvex IAS
The system fine-tunes the helmet's inner circumference to the shape of the head, helping achieve a secure fit without uneven pressure.
Active ventilation
A slider controls airflow through multiple vents. Releasing warm air also helps reduce ski-goggle fogging.
Coolmax® EcoMade
The removable two-part liner wicks moisture, dries more quickly and improves comfort over a full day of skiing.
hear+ and thermal inserts
hear+ ear sections support more natural awareness of surrounding sounds. Thermal inserts can be added on very cold days.
Fidlock®
The magnetic-mechanical buckle fastens and opens easily with one gloved hand; an audible click confirms it is closed properly.
