ACE SC7
Carving skis with two Titanal layers for stable, controlled turns on groomed runs.
Elan ACE SC7 are designed for skiers linking clean carving turns on groomed runs. The 72 mm waist allows quick edge changes, while two Titanal layers keep the ski stable under stronger pressure.
Technologies
Active Suspension Drive
A shock-absorbing elastomer layer sits between overlapping reinforcements and dampens vibration as you ski. The reinforcements also direct energy to the part of the ski under pressure. This helps the edge maintain contact with the snow and makes the ski feel calmer over uneven surfaces, giving you more precise carving and support as you finish a turn.
Traction Tip
A relief zone in the forebody lets the tip respond more freely to uneven snow and changes in skier pressure. As you start a turn, the tip can adapt to the surface and guide the ski onto its edge. This makes turn initiation smoother and reduces vibration in the front of the ski.
Power Woodcore and Dual Ti
The Power woodcore provides flex and energy as you move between turns. Dual Ti means two Titanal layers that reinforce the core and provide firm support under heavier loads. This helps the ski hold its line and remain stable during faster carving, when you put more force through the edges.
RST and camber
RST sidewalls transfer pressure from the ski’s construction to the edges for a direct response to your input. Camber is the traditional arch: the unloaded ski has a slightly raised middle that flexes towards the snow when you apply pressure. Together they help engage the edge along the ski and maintain grip through a carving turn.
Sintered base
The sintered base absorbs wax well, helping reduce friction between the ski and snow. Regular waxing keeps it gliding smoothly on piste and across gentler sections. Its performance depends on proper care, so keeping the base waxed helps preserve the benefit.
