Cycling helmet Alpina Apax MIPS, matt black
Code: A9792330
Product detailed description
Apax MIPS
Apax MIPS is designed for mountain biking and trail riding. Its deeper profile increases coverage while retaining open ventilation. The visor height adjusts to suit the riding position.
Technologies
MIPS
A low-friction layer allows a small movement between the helmet and the head during an angled impact. It is designed to reduce rotational forces acting on the head in this type of fall.
In-Mold, Hi-EPS and Edge Protect
The polycarbonate Ceramic Shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS core. The foam absorbs impact energy, while an additional Edge Protect polycarbonate section protects the lower edge from everyday damage.
Run System Ergo Flex and 3D Fit
The dial provides fine circumference adjustment. 3D Fit also adjusts the height of the rear support; the Ergomatic buckle and adjustable straps help fine-tune the fit under the chin.
Extended coverage and adjustable visor
The lowered rear and sides extend coverage around the back of the head and temples. The height-adjustable visor shades the eyes, large vents release heat and mesh keeps insects out. Removable padding makes cleaning easier.
Specifications
Choose the size using the measured head circumference and the range shown for the variant. The helmet should sit level and remain stable when adjusted.
