    The e-RIOT CF Advanced pairs a carbon frame and long-travel suspension with mixed wheel sizes. It suits riders tackling rocky trails, steep descents and full days in the mountains. The larger front wheel rolls over obstacles, while the smaller rear wheel leaves more room to move over the bike.

    Bosch CX for the climb
    The fifth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX offers up to 100 Nm in the setting listed for this model. It responds to your pedalling effort, helping on slow, technical climbs. The 800 Wh PowerTube battery provides a substantial energy reserve for repeat ascents; actual range depends on the route and assistance level.
    Controls for trail riding
    Kiox 300 shows ride data and, when connected to your phone, navigation prompts. The Mini Remote lets you change assistance without letting go of the handlebar, with the main controller integrated into the frame.
    Tune assistance on your phone
    Use eBike Flow to tailor each mode to your pace, plan routes and install updates. This fifth-generation Bosch CX supports an upgrade to as much as 120 Nm; the bike manufacturer’s settings determine the maximum available in the app. Stronger assistance helps on steep climbs, while a gentler setting saves energy for a longer ride.
    Suspension for demanding descents
    The 170 mm RockShox Domain Gold RC fork and Super Deluxe Select+ shock with 160 mm rear travel help the wheels track rough ground. The carbon chassis uses TractionLink 2.0 suspension to keep the rear end active over both larger obstacles and smaller repeated impacts.
    Braking, grip and room to move
    Four-piston SRAM DB8 hydraulic brakes help control speed on steep terrain. Continental Kryptotal tyres use compounds focused on downhill grip. Lowering the dropper post leaves room to shift your weight on technical sections, while twelve SRAM NX Eagle gears with an 11–50-tooth cassette also cover the climbs.
