    Sporten Explorer Skin are designed for ski tourers on touring routes and beyond groomed tracks.

    Technologies

    Integrated climbing skin

    Fibres in the kick zone grip the snow during the kick and allow glide in the direction of travel. There is no need to select kick wax for the conditions. Clean the skin regularly and use a skin treatment to reduce icing.

    Wood core

    Bonded wood laminations form a stable core with an even flex. The skis respond predictably under load and provide support through the kick.

    Fibreglass reinforcement

    Fibreglass layers resist twisting, helping the ski hold its direction when loaded during the kick or when travelling over uneven snow.

    Steel edges

    The edges bite into firm snow more effectively than the base alone, helping you hold a traverse and control speed on descents away from groomed tracks.
