Choosing the right equipment
Choosing the right size for your head circumference is crucial. Even the best helmet cannot protect properly unless it stays securely in place. It should sit roughly level on your head, without tipping forwards or backwards.
More skiers and snowboarders are choosing helmets with an integrated visor. The visor forms a well-integrated barrier against the weather. The lenses in our range use impact-resistant materials and can replace conventional ski goggles for most users. They are also generally easier to wear over prescription glasses.
How to reduce draughts under the visor
Correct positioning of the helmet and visor is essential. Put the helmet on first, then close the visor so it rests firmly but comfortably against your cheeks and nose. Only then tighten the fit-adjustment dial. The helmet should not tilt noticeably forwards or backwards. We have tried this approach ourselves and found it helps most of our customers.
