Leki XTA 6.5 Vario let you adjust the length using a telescopic shaft and Speed Lock mechanism. The CorTec Shark grip connects directly to the strap, which detaches quickly during a break without taking it off your hand.
Shark system
The strap connects directly to the grip to help transfer force during push-off. Quick manual release lets you detach the pole without taking the strap off your hand. Shark is a separate system designed for cross-country skiing and walking.
Speed Lock plus
An external locking lever lets you adjust the two-section pole. Close the lock and check that it holds before use; never extend a section beyond its marked limit.
Fin Vario
The Fin Vario cross-country basket is paired with a carbide tip for secure push-off. This is the snow version, rather than the Roller Tip version for roller skiing.

Choosing your pole length
As a starting estimate, multiply height in cm by 0.84 for classic skiing or 0.89 for skating. At 170 cm, this gives about 143 cm for classic and 151 cm for skating. Adapt the result to your technique, experience and available lengths. For this version, adjust only within 145–165 cm and never exceed the maximum extension marks.
