The POC Elicit Clarity are among the lightest sunglasses available. The frame has been removed entirely — the temples connect directly to the lens via snap-fit hinges — yet eye protection is uncompromised: the large, wrap-around frameless lens covers your full field of vision, while Clarity technology, developed with optical specialists Carl Zeiss, delivers colour rendering and contrast that are sharp and true to life.

The lenses are the heart of these glasses. Clarity technology optimises colour spectrum transmission so that contrast and surface definition ahead of you are as sharp as possible — helping you spot a pothole, a wet line, or a crack in the tarmac sooner. The Ri-Pel coating repels water, sweat, dust, salt and oil and makes cleaning easier; scratch resistance extends the optical life of the lens. Full UV400 protection — covering both UVA and UVB — is included as standard.

The temples are made from bio-grilamid — light, strong and produced largely from renewable sources. They attach to the lens via snap-fit hinges: in a crash, the arms detach to protect the lens from cracking, then simply click back into place. The glasses come with two interchangeable nose bridge sizes, so you can dial in a comfortable fit regardless of your nose profile.
