The CTM R:AMP 8 is a front light built for cyclists who ride after dark and refuse to compromise on range or durability. Its aluminium body keeps weight to just 172 g, yet delivers a full 800 lumens with a 141-metre beam and a well-controlled spread that avoids dazzling oncoming riders. It also doubles as a power bank — so you can top up your phone or cycle computer straight from the handlebars whenever you need to.

Output and Battery Life

The Luminus SST-40 LED delivers 800 lm at full power for 1 hr 40 min. For longer rides, dropping to 50 % extends runtime to 4 hours, while 25 % gives you 7 hrs 30 min. In flash mode the light runs for up to 11 hours at 50 % or 10 hours at 100 %. The 21700 cell — 4000 mAh / 3.7 V — charges fully in 2.5 hours via USB-C; a quick press of the button checks battery status without switching the light on.

Controls and Mounting

A double-click cycles through output modes, a single click adjusts brightness, and holding the button turns the light on or off — an intuitive layout you'll pick up straight away. The universal mount covers handlebar diameters of 25.4–35 mm via interchangeable straps, and the base is Garmin-compatible.
