Continental Magnotal Trail Grip Kevlar MTB Tyre 29×2.60

The Magnotal is Continental's latest trail range, replacing the well-regarded Mountain King and Trail King models. At 2.60 inches wide, it offers noticeably more volume than narrower options — helping absorb trail chatter and improving confidence through technical terrain. The single-ply trail casing keeps weight in check, so the tyre doesn't hold you back when grinding uphill.

The centre tread is designed for smooth, efficient rolling, while pronounced side knobs bite into corners and improve braking performance. The Grip compound is pitched at all-round trail riding — compared with the softer Soft variant, it rolls a little more freely and lasts longer, while retaining enough traction for trail use in both dry and wet conditions.

The single-ply trail casing is lighter than enduro-spec constructions yet tough enough for everyday off-road riding. The Kevlar bead (aramid fibre) makes fitting easier and supports tubeless use, including compatibility with hookless rims. The tyre is also approved for e-bikes up to 25 km/h (E25 rated).

Tubeless setup requires a compatible rim, tubeless valve, rim tape, and sealant — none of these are included. We recommend having the tyre fitted by a qualified mechanic for the first tubeless installation.
