Rakouská společnost Blizzard Ski vznikla v roce 1953 a patří ke gigantům ve výrobě lyží a lyžařského vybavení. Je lídrem v oblasti výzkumu a vývoje. Při výrobě lyží Blizzard jsou používány high-tech materiály – kevlar, karbon a další.
