R2 · ski helmet with a hybrid shell

OCTANE

Hybrid Shell combines a lighter In-Mold section with a durable ABS shell in high-stress areas. AirVac Flow controls airflow, the Fidlock buckle makes fastening easier, and the antibacterial Fluffy Sense lining protects against the cold.

The Octane is a more robust helmet for regular skiing at a faster pace. Its hybrid construction uses different materials where they offer the greatest benefit for durability, weight and all-day comfort. The colour is black.

Technology and construction

Hybrid Shell
A lightweight In-Mold section is paired with a strong ABS shell where mechanical durability matters most. This protects the impact-absorbing core robustly without a heavy shell over the entire helmet.

AirVac Flow
Well-placed vents channel air around the head, and a continuously adjustable control changes the airflow. You can open the vents for energetic skiing and partially close them on cold days.

Fidlock Magnetic Click
A magnet guides the two parts of the buckle together before a mechanical lock secures them. It can be fastened comfortably with one hand, even in gloves.

Fluffy Sense
The contoured antibacterial lining uses soft fleece with an insulating layer. It helps keep the head warm and feels comfortable against the skin throughout the day.

CE EN 1077 certification
The helmet meets the European standard for protective helmets used in downhill skiing and snowboarding. Proper protection always depends on choosing the right size and achieving a secure fit.

Available sizes

Choose a size based on your head circumference.

55–58 cm · M59–61 cm · L

Measure around your head horizontally, about one centimetre above your eyebrows. If you fall between sizes, we recommend trying the helmet on.

Correct fit: The helmet should fit securely before the chin strap is tightened, stay in place when you lean forwards and create no pressure points.
