Product detailed description
GROMVEL RACE suits riders who plan a route around the landscape, including the tracks beyond the road. Two chainrings provide low gears for climbing and higher gears for faster road sections. Drop bars offer different hand positions on longer rides, and hydraulic brakes help you stay in control on descents.
Gearing for varied routes
A 46/30T double chainset and twelve-sprocket 11–36T cassette let you choose a gear to suit your pace and the gradient. Use the larger chainring on fast road sections and the smaller one for sustained climbs. GRX shifting is designed for riding beyond smooth roads.
Frame and carbon fork
A rigid carbon fork complements the aluminium frame, giving direct feedback when pedalling and steering. The 12 mm thru-axles connect the wheels securely to the frame and fork, while drop bars let you change your grip on longer outings.
Control on gravel
Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres provide more volume than narrow road tyres, helping when you leave the tarmac for gravel and firm field tracks. Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes let you apply braking force progressively as the surface changes.
