DP C18 UART
Ride data on a colour display and assistance control from the handlebar.
The Bafang DP C18 colour display keeps ride data and battery status in view. A separate handlebar controller lets you change assistance levels and operate the lights.
Replacement and setup
In the UART system, wheel size is stored in the display. When ordering, use the “Nastavení rozměru kol” option to choose factory settings or pre-configuration for your e-bike. We carry out pre-configuration using service diagnostics. Leave “Navýšení rychlosti” unselected unless you require a change to the assistance cut-off speed.
Compatibility and connector
This display is intended for e-bikes with a Bafang mid-drive motor and the matching UART communication system. It supports 36 V, 43 V and 48 V. Check the communication system and round connector before ordering; CAN and UART versions are not interchangeable.
Features and controls
Ride data at a glance
The 3.2″ colour LCD shows current, average and maximum speed, trip and total distance, riding time and the selected assistance level. Battery status can be shown as a percentage or voltage, keeping remaining energy in view alongside your ride data.
Controller and USB
The five-button handlebar controller lets you change assistance levels, operate the lights and access settings. The USB port can charge external devices.
Backlighting and IPX5 protection
Automatic backlighting helps maintain readability as ambient light changes. IPX5 protection shields the display against splashing water when riding in rain.

Other versions
C18 UART CZ – switch the menu between Czech and English.
C18 UART PRO CZ – Czech and English menus, wheel-size and assistance cut-off speed settings directly on the display, without service diagnostics.
Assistance speed setting
If the assistance cut-off speed is set above 25 km/h, the e-bike may no longer meet the requirements for a standard e-bike on public roads. Such a setting is intended only for use away from public roads, for example on private land or in a closed area.
