    ELLIE 20″ suits children approximately 115–135 cm tall. Its aluminium frame and rigid steel fork make a straightforward bike for cycle paths, firm tracks and family outings. The rider gets useful gears without having to manage a suspension fork.

    A gear for the route
    The six-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain offers easier pedalling on gentle climbs and a faster gear for flat stretches. Shifting is handled at one grip, with no front derailleur to think about.
    Cranks sized for a child
    The 127 mm cranks suit this size of bike. A child’s legs do not have to travel through the larger circle made by adult-length cranks, making it easier to settle into a smooth pedalling rhythm.
    Braking with both hands
    Front and rear Alhonga V-brakes are operated by levers, so young riders can learn to use both hands when slowing down. The 1.75-inch tyres are suited to everyday riding on firm surfaces.
