    Gear

BILLY is intended for children approximately 80–110 cm tall. Its steel frame, rigid fork and single gear make it a straightforward choice for learning to ride in a safe space and, later, for short outings. The child can focus on pedalling, steering and braking without shifting gears.

    Pedalling with smaller legs
The 89 mm cranks are sized for this small bike. A child’s feet travel through a smaller circle as they pedal, making it easier to settle into a smooth rhythm.
    Two ways to brake
The rear coaster brake engages when the rider pedals backwards. A lever operates the front V-brake, letting the child gradually learn to brake by hand too.
    A hand at the start
The handle on the saddle gives an adult a place to steady the bike during early attempts. The 470 mm handlebar and single-speed drivetrain keep the controls simple.
