    Product detailed description

    Elan · women's piste skis
    INSOMNIA 10 BLACK
Women's downhill skis combining low weight, easy handling and surprisingly strong support for sportier carving.
    Laminated Woodcore
    core
    11.6 m
    radius at 150 cm
    76 mm
    waist width
    Light Shift
    binding plate system
They feel light and forgiving at an easy pace yet hold firmly on edge for clean carved turns when you pick up speed. Amphibio TruLine makes turns easier to start, the laminated wood core retains a lively feel, and RST Sidewall supports precision on hard snow.
Who are these skis for: intermediate to advanced women who want easy handling at a relaxed pace and firm support for sportier carving.
How Amphibio works through a turn
Amphibio uses different construction for the left and right skis. They therefore form a side-specific pair, with each ski having an inside and outside edge that play different roles through a turn.
    Inside edge · camber
    Precision and strong edge grip
Longer contact with the snow helps the ski hold its line and stay stable under load.
    Outside edge · rocker
Easier turn initiation and edge change
The relieved profile makes turn initiation easier and helps the ski roll smoothly onto the other edge.
    What you will appreciate
    Lightness that lasts all day
Low weight makes handling easier and saves energy throughout the day.
    Smooth turn initiation
The asymmetric profile helps the ski turn smoothly without demanding a strong input.
    Support at faster speeds
It remains stable and predictable on edge even at higher speeds or on hard snow.

    Construction and its benefits
    Amphibio TruLine
Different tuning of the inner and outer edges combines strong support through a turn with easier initiation.
    Amphibio profile
The left and right skis work differently: the inner edge grips while the outer side helps start a smooth turn.
Laminated Woodcore · laminated wood core
The lightweight laminated wood core adds natural flex, a lively feel and the stability needed.
    RST Sidewall · race-style sidewall
The vertical sidewall improves energy transfer to the edges and precision on hard snow.
    Light Shift plate and system
The lightweight integrated plate and binding system reduces set weight and lets the ski flex naturally. Turns take less effort and handling stays smooth. Elan ELW 9.0 GW Shift bindings are included.

Řada W Studio vzniká jako samostatný vývoj a dámské lyže mají upravenou geometrii i ladění konstrukce, aby lépe odpovídaly stylu a potřebám lyžařek.

Elan tak nabízí technologicky vyspělé lyže s velmi dobrým poměrem cena/výkon, které si oblíbí rekreační i sportovní lyžaři.
