The POC AMIDAL MIPS is a road helmet with a slim profile designed for aerodynamics and low weight. Its compact shape feels balanced and helps limit drag at higher speeds.
A polycarbonate shell surrounds an EPS liner that helps absorb impact energy. A key protective feature is MIPS Air Node, integrated directly into the helmet to help reduce rotational forces in angled impacts. External rear reinforcement increases structural stiffness and nape coverage.
The helmet's slim shape was designed for aerodynamics and checked using CFD analysis (computational fluid dynamics). The result is a compact profile with low drag.
A light developed specifically for the AMIDAL by Knog can be attached to the rear. The light is sold separately, but the mount is integrated at the factory, so no adaptor is needed. It adds visibility without mounting another accessory on the bike.
