The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is Garmin's first completely screen-free band. Wear it discreetly on your wrist or upper arm: it will not interrupt you with notifications, yet it keeps collecting health and training data. Everything is clearly presented in Garmin Connect, with no subscription needed for the core features.
Who it is for: for anyone who wants to understand their health and fitness without wearing a conventional smartwatch — whether for work, sport or simply because they do not need a screen on their wrist. It also makes a useful companion to a Garmin watch for overnight tracking when you take the watch off.
No screen, no distractions
Instead of a screen, CIRQA has a ComfortFit textile band made from fibre-reinforced polymer — light and comfortable to wear all day. The 27 × 47 × 9 mm electronic module weighs just 14.8 g, so the whole band, strap included, weighs no more than 21.2 g. The strap is replaceable using 14 mm spring bars and has a standard width of 24 mm. Remove the electronic module and the textile band can be machine washed.

24/7 health monitoring — no subscription
The Gen 4 optical sensor continuously measures heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen (SpO₂) through Pulse Ox and skin temperature. The band uses these readings to assess your Body Battery energy levels, stress and overall health. It can alert you when your heart rate goes above or below limits you set.

Advanced sleep tracking with a score and personal coach
The band tracks sleep stages and daytime naps, then wakes you with a smart alarm using gentle vibrations at a suitable point in your sleep cycle. You receive a sleep score and personal tips for improving your rest. Sleep alignment shows how closely your sleep follows your natural circadian rhythm. Breathing variation tracking during sleep may highlight factors such as alcohol, your environment or potential sleep disturbances.

Training features: readiness, training status and VO2 max
CIRQA tracks more than 80 sports activities — start them with the button on the band or in Garmin Connect. Automatic activity detection recognises running, walking and cycling; connected GPS on your phone records routes and pace outdoors. Each morning, a Training Readiness score helps you decide whether to tackle a demanding session or take an easier day. VO2 max gives an indication of your overall fitness, while Training Status shows how effectively you are training.

Garmin Connect — all your data in one place
All measurements sync to the Garmin Connect app, where you can view them and edit automatically detected activities if needed. Core features are free and require no subscription. With a Garmin Connect+ subscription, you can access premium features including Garmin Coach plans, nutrition tracking, guided meditation, breathing exercises and personalised Garmin Active Intelligence recommendations powered by AI. ANT+ also lets you transmit heart rate data directly to compatible Garmin devices, such as an Edge cycling computer.
Note: meditation, breathing exercises, Garmin Coach plans, nutrition tracking and advanced AI recommendations require a Garmin Connect+ subscription. Fertility tracking through the Natural Cycles app requires a separate Natural Cycles subscription.
